Selena’s Story

Selena had been doing what she loves for 28 years…working as a hairstylist. But her world was flipped upside down when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2021. She’s been unable to work since May, when she had her lumpectomy. “My left arm is limited in movement because of the lumpectomy surgery and removal of lymph nodes,” explained Selena.

Upon starting chemotherapy, that’s when she reached out to Pretty In Pink Foundation to help with her medical bills. “This financial assistance is so important.
